It feels like they'll never stop coming. Through my rifle's oversized scope I watch German after German bob and weave across the battlefield, their spiked helmets popping up for mere instants before sinking back down into another crater, edging ever closer to our trench. I pick off one, two, three, and then artillery fire is raining down to my left, massive plumes of dirt erupting into the air from our front lines. The Germans swarm into the breach, shouting. A whistle blows off to my right, a man waving his pistol into the air and pushing his men to plug the gap. They run straight into a cloud of gas. Four men die before the rest get their masks on.

Google will include a “buy” button in its search results on mobile devices in the coming weeks, said a report on Friday in the Wall Street Journal, a move that could give online shoppers an easier way to buy products on small screens. The change might also give consumers an alternative to mobile apps from companies like Amazon and eBay, though it might jeopardize retailers’ ability to directly market to their customers. The buy button will appear on Google’s search results pages when people search for certain products on mobile devices, said

It’s funny to think of But the game recently left Early Access for the fertile plains of an official 1.0 release, not only providing a reason for lapsed players to jump into the game but signaling the all-clear as far as official reviews go. So here it is, my official review: If you’ve never played

Microsoft executives said Friday that the company will not offer Windows 10 for free to those without legitimate licenses to Microsoft’s software, as the company had previously seemed to say. Terry Myerson, executive vice president of operating systems for Microsoft, wrote Friday that the company will provide “very attractive” offers to those who wish to upgrade from what he called a Windows operating system in a “non-Genuine state” to Windows 10. But, he said, it will not be free. “While our free offer to upgrade to Windows 10 will not apply to Non-Genuine Windows devices, and as we’ve always done, we will continue to offer Windows 10 to customers running devices in a Non-Genuine state,”

Google's Chromecast dongle is getting a little more love from TV networks, with new app support for CBS, Fox Now, FX Now, and HGTV Watch. Users can now download these apps for iOS or Android, then hit the Cast button in the app to send any video to the television. CBS, Fox, and FX have also added Chromecast support to their websites, so Chrome users who've installed the Unfortunately, if you don't have traditional TV service, CBS is the only app worth using. Most of its shows include several full episodes for free, and you can watch entire series and live programming with a $6-per-month All Access subscription. The other three apps put nearly all their episodes behind a pay-TV paywall. (HGTV has a handful of free episodes, but you really have to dig around to find them.)

The death of Samsung Wallet has a hard date. The company is killing off the service on June 30, with The

Sure, you’ll have to sell both your kidneys to buy it, but at least now you can finally have 128GB of cutting-edge RAM in your PC. This week, Corsair announced it is now selling two 128GB DDR4 RAM kits while Kingston touted that its upcoming big-ass set will hit speeds of 3000MHz.

Amazon’s That’s changing with the latest update for Echo, which lets users bark out orders to restock anything they’ve previously bought through Amazon Prime. All that’s required is the device’s wake-up word (“Alexa” by default) followed by “re-order [item name].” Echo then finds the item and asks for confirmation to buy it, either with a “yes” or a voice code. Shopping isn’t strictly restricted to past purchases. If Echo doesn’t find the item in the user’s order history, but can recommend something similar, it’ll tell users the name and price before giving them the option to buy it. If it doesn’t find anything, it’ll add the item name to the user’s shopping list. (You can also say “Alexa, cancel order” if you’ve bought something by accident.)

Wikipedia is easily the greatest compendium of human knowledge ever created. Sure, academics have their issues with it and pranksters love messing with it, but as a starting point to learn about pretty much any topic you can think of you simply can’t beat Wikipedia. But it does have its downsides. One thing that’s always irked me is the interface. On the PC, to put it bluntly, it sucks. It’s very busy, with text and boxes everywhere, and the article navigation links are oddly placed. A Chrome extension called Wikiwand aims to change all that by giving Wikipedia a much-needed visual overhaul. To use it all you have to do is download the extension from the
